My Review of Debt Reversal by Robert Allen
I’ve been under so much stress lately because of the way I’ve mismanaged my money in the past. I think I have a better grip on the situation now than I did when I was in college – which is when I started building up the mountain of credit card debt that I’m currently contending with – but I’m still unsure about how to undo the damage I’ve already done and wipe the slate clean, so to speak. That’s why I picked up a copy of the book Debt Reversal by Robert Allen. True to its title, this book offers plenty of tips for reversing your debt so you can get debt free as quickly as possible.
There are several things that I like about Robert Allen Debt Reversal. First, I appreciate his writing style. It’s clear and straightforward, which allows him to frame complex financial issues in very simple, understandable terms. If you’re confused about your finances to begin with, you probably don’t want to wade through a wordy book about the subject that will leave you even more baffled than you were before you picked it up – and Robert Allen makes this book easy to read without dumbing it down. I also like that, in addition to offering tips about improving your credit score, renegotiating your interest rates, and eliminating your dependence on credit cards altogether, he also gives readers concrete ideas for making extra money. If you are tens of thousands of dollars in debt, like I am, you’re definitely going to need some additional income in order to pay down your balances while still making ends meet, and Debt Reversal actually addresses that need.
All in all, I feel like this book has given me some of the tools that I need to start making better financial decisions, and hopefully in time I can actually be “Debt Free for Good,” as the cover states. If you’re lost and have no idea what steps to take in order to start reversing your debt, then Robert Allen’s Debt Reversal might be a good option for you too.
